Paint correction is the process of removing imperfections in your vehicles clear coat.
The process involves leveling the surface of the clear coat with Various tools and techniques to remove imperfections like light scratches and swirl marks.
The paint correction process typically involves the following steps:
Our strip wash removes any preexisting waxes or sealants. Applied using a foam Cannon and agitated with a plush microfiber wash pad leaving a clean bare surface. Once clean our clay bar treatment removes Iron and other contaminants from your vehicle's paint, leaving it smooth and contamination free. This process is done manually by hand, panel by panel until the paint is contamination free.
We use a paint gauge meter to measure the thickness of your vehicles paint. This provides us with valuable information as to how much clear coat we have to work with. The thicker the measurements are the more we can compound, giving us a higher percentage of improved clear coat. If the measurements prove your vehicles paint to be too thin, we will not compound your paint. Thin paint has a high risk of burning through the clear coat. We may recommend going with a light polish or a paint enhancement with fillers.
Compounding aims to remove fine scratches, paint surface stains, oxidation, water spots, and other defects from the vehicle’s paint. This is done using a liquid abrasive compound and machine polisher to wear away thin layers from the top of the clear coat. after compounding, the surface may appear slightly hazy. It’s essential to follow up with the next step to restore gloss and shine.
Polishing is not about removing defects but rather restoring the gloss and shine to the paint. It smooths out the surface haze left by compounding. Like compounding, polish is an abrasive liquid applied to a pad on a machine polisher. However, it’s finer and designed for finishing touches.
The final step is to protect the paint surface from future damage shielding the paint from UV rays, contaminants, and environmental factors.

What Is a Paint Enhancement?
Paint enhancement is a process of improving the appearance your vehicles paint surface without removing all the defects. It involves using an all-in-one product that combines a polish, resin filler and a wax or sealant to lightly abrade the paint surface and fill in minor defects with protective agents. Paint enhancement can reduce the visibility of swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, and other defects by creating a smoother, glossier surface while adding some depth in color.
Our Paint enhancement is done in one step, using a machine polisher & soft foam polishing pads. It is less aggressive than paint correction, and it does not remove any clear coat from the paint surface. Paint enhancement is usually recommended for newer cars with minimal paint damage, older cars with thin clear coat. or for car owners who want a quick and easy way to enhance their paint’s shine and protection.
** Plase Note** If you have Deep scratches & swirls or chips deeper than the paints clear coat Paint Enhancement WILL NOT FIX IT. **
